We had our new home built by the Athens, PA office. Our journey began in October 2019 with Brandon Meyers, Housing Consultant. We met with Brandon after having met with other home builders and immediately decided that Fine Line Homes was going to be our choice. Brandon was very kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. We started the process in early 2020, and then the Covid-19 pandemic hit. I could fill a book with the stories of how Brandon worked with us and helped us through many setbacks. Some were related to price increases, and some were due to major snags with permits from our township. Nothing was Fine Line's fault; it was all just bad timing and circumstances. Brandon could have easily given up on us or lost patience, but he was totally awesome through all of that craziness. During the building process, we mostly communicated with Rob Pettit, Aaron Cowder, & James Cacciavillano. All three individuals were super helpful and great to work with. As inexperienced home builders, my husband and I asked many, many questions. I worried that my questions at times came off as I didn't trust them or doubted them. That was not the case at all. I am a very analytical person and I ask lots of questions. I wanted to be able to thank these guys for all their time and energy. They treated us with courtesy and showed lots of patience. We are forever grateful to them. 

We absolutely love our new home! Our experience with Fine Line Homes has been nothing other than stellar. While stationed in Germany, we received weekly updates of the building progress, all scheduled activities, and pictures of the construction site. We love our Fine Line Home! The plans were easily adaptable to our wants and needs. The staff was great to work with and always available via phone or email. My husband and I have been 3-time return customers to Fine Line Homes since 2000. We have had nothing but good experiences with everyone from the contractor and salesman up to the final closing. Our home was started in November of 2019 and we were expected to move in May of 2020. Unfortunately, Covid hit, and our home construction was shut down for 7 weeks. While this was very disappointing, none of it was the fault of Fine Line Homes. From start to finish, all the folks from Fine Line were top-notch, went above and beyond, and were very accessible. George, Steve, Steve, Barb, Ron, and Gloria all made our experience a pleasant one. We took the Hudson floor plan, made alterations to fit our needs and we couldn't love it any more. The fact that Fine Line Homes will make alterations to their floor plans puts them head and shoulders above other home builders. 

Very pleased with our new home. Our experience with Fine Line Home has been excellent. Starting with our salesman, Brandon, who helped us get started. With the building, Bob was there to answer any of our questions when the house was being built. Rob has helped us with any problems we have had post moving into the house. They were prompt about answering our texts or phone calls and made us feel we could call anytime with any questions. I would recommend anyone who wants to build a new home to stop in and see them.

We built our home through Fine Line, and honestly, I couldn’t be more pleased. Working with Andy was great, and he always kept us informed on scheduling and the progress. Growing up the son of a contractor, I was a little skeptical at first, working with a large builder. However, I was totally and pleasantly surprised at the craftsmanship and ease of the whole process. If, for whatever reason, we build again, we will most certainly be calling Fine Line.

We used Fine Lines to build our dream home in March 2020. We were very pleased with the majority of our experience. When you build a home there are many different professional roles that need to come together to successfully accomplish this task. Joe from sales was very helpful and patient with the interior and exterior decisions we had to make and it was a lot!! He was there to answer the many questions we had before we officially started.

We chose Fine Line Homes after exhausting research with private home-building contractors as well as other large contracting companies. We have had homes built in the past, one in Williamsport and one in Omaha, Nebraska, and are very familiar with home construction. Also, my father was a home building contractor for over 40 years in the Williamsport area, and with me being his dedicated helper, I was exposed to every facet of construction. With that background, we made the decision to go with Fine Line Homes after a detailed review of their plans, materials, techniques, scheduling and construction crews. Dedication to quality and service were also primary factors. From the financial aspect, we were very pleased with their communication with our lending institution, as well as the bank’s recommendation. We picked the Stockton plan for its floorplan which gives us the living space we required, and all on one floor. Fine Line worked on the lot layout, excavation, basement construction and the house, completing construction to the plan in the 6 months quoted from the start. All operations went smoothly, considering that they had some drywall subcontractor problems, which they worked hard to resolve and maintain the schedule and quality of workmanship. We are very satisfied with our decision to contract with Fine Line, and are extremely pleased with our beautiful home. Our 1-Year Fix List had only minor fixes listed, and the list was accomplished with one technician for about 6 hours. We highly recommend Fine Line Homes to anyone desiring quality, professionalism and open communication during the entire planning and construction process.

As a first-time home buyer, the whole process can be intimidating. The staff at Fine Line was there to offer guidance along the way. The experience we had building our home with Fine Line Homes was truly second to none.  From the inception of the project to the closing date, everyone involved helped make it a pleasant, efficient, and easy-to-understand venture.  Our journey was a little different than most, however.  While nearing our completion date, my wife fell very ill with an extremely rare immune disorder that threatened her life as well as the life of our 27-week old son.  She had an emergency procedure to help restore her breathing and our son was delivered prematurely.  The last thing on our mind was the final details for finishing and moving into our beautiful new home. We built our home with Fine Line Homes due to their reputation and quality workmanship. That was the easiest decision by far and the best decision that we could have made.  We worked hard to prepare for the possibility of building our home, but we didn’t know if it would ever be in our budget.  It seemed like a dream that would be too good to be true. The Construction Consultant was patient, kind, and above all knowledgeable and open-minded to our likes and dislikes in a home.  They had an eye for detail and the budget-friendly outlook gave us the peace of mind needed to commit to building our dream home.  Many family members were less than supportive cautioning us to hidden costs, allowances, and “headaches” that are entailed in building.  Fine Line Homes is a top-notch company that far exceeded our expectations and wildest dreams from start to finish and there were no hidden costs or kitchen allowances.  Each craftsman that made our house come to life treated my family and I with respect, dignity, and kept an open line of communication with us on-site throughout the build.  With Fine Line Homes you truly get what you want, as there is nothing standard or cookie-cutter about our home.  All it takes is a stroke of white-out to remove a wall to make it an open floor plan, a ruler to create the most divine master suite, and a really amazing team at Fine line to make it all come to life. We could not be happier with our new home.

Our experience with building a home has not been the smoothest. I would like to commend Fine Line Homes for being so extremely helpful in turning what could have been the worst decision of our lives, into a great outcome and a perfect home.  Our journey started out bumpy and only got rougher the more roadblocks we encountered. Between our bank not giving us all of the information we needed, having to push our closing date off a total of three times, the county being absolutely stubborn with their permits, and the land seller not putting in the sewer we were legally promised, our beginning was definitely trying. During the beginning, we met numerous times with our Housing Consultant, and what exciting meetings these were! Planning what we wanted our forever home to look like, picking our floor plans, tweaking and changing things to exactly the way we wanted them. From carpet to countertops to lights and cabinets. So much fun! The Consultant helped with every step and literally every detail down to every outlet of the house, even putting up with myself with pregnant and very hormonal at times.  Once we started the physical building process, the Construction Consultant was our contact and what a huge support she was. As we excitedly made trips to our big hole in the ground that turned into a basement and next, a few walls that turned into our home, she was there every step of the way. Giving us updates, making sure we knew what to expect, and helping us stay on track. The house was put on pause until the sewer was extended. The very minute the sewer lateral was placed, Fine Line was back in action and had the house finished in no time. They were so responsive with all of the delays, with which we had no control over.  The foreman was great as well. He was the eyes and ears of our home as it was being built and did our final walkthrough with us when everything was complete. He was pointing out things that we probably would not have noticed, had he not been on top of it. 

Fine Line helped us build our dream home. Our Housing Consultant was incredible to work with through the design process allowing our vision to come to life while guarding us to make sure everything came out perfectly. The convenience of having most options on site was perfect for us with our jobs and planning for our wedding. The foreman was easy to reach regarding any questions during the process and the Construction Consultant made the process not seem overwhelming. We would recommend Fine Line to anyone who wishes to build a high-quality custom home. 

We visited several builders finding that Fine Line offered far more options than any other builder. All staff members were exceptionally accommodating to all our requests. Unlike other builders, Fine Line was willing to make changes to their pre-designed plans to best fit our needs. Our salesman, George, was beyond patient with us throughout the design process from finding the perfect piece of land to designing a home that fits our lifestyle. We would highly recommend Fine Line Homes to all our friends and family!
