Construction Consultant

HARRISBURG, PA

Fine Line Homes – Harrisburg is seeking a full time Construction Consultant to manage new home construction starts. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between the Sales and Construction Teams, as well as our customers. This role is one of the reasons we continue to be known for our customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales team with estimate reviews and/or pricing as needed. 

  • Work with Housing Consultants to ensure all applicable paperwork is signed, accurate, and timely. 

  • Set up and maintain all construction files.

  • Review final prints with customers and prepare job summaries. 

  • Conduct pre-building talk with customers. 

  • Maintain and upload all files needed in Buildertrend (as per outline on file). 

  • Handle all post-sale communication with our customers during construction. 

  • Work with construction team to process change orders and additions/deletions at the buyers request. 

  • Maintain job cost notification by customer of site work estimate vs. actual cost. 

  • Gather all necessary document for walk-through packages. 

  • Final settlement with customers. 

  • Process internal and external paperwork of settlement to local office and vendors. 

  • Assist with ordering as needed (usually special items sold on contracts). 

  • Coordinate draw requests with customers and lenders. 

  • Identify any issues with plans under development. 

  • Maintain homes & property addresses owned by Fine Line Homes for lawn, snow, utilities, and insurance. 

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

  • Proven organizational skills in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail. 

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365. 

  • Able to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. 

  • 2 years’ experience in the homebuilding industry a plus.
